THE STAFF OF OHIO VALLEY ALL-STARS WAS AWARDED THE LEADERSHIP AWARD FROM ALL-STAR CHALLENGE AT ITS 2008 QUEEN OF THE NILE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.  THIS AWARD IS PRESENTED TO THE PROGRAM WHO EXEMPLIFIES SPORTSMANSHIP IN THE SPORT OF CHEERLEADING. A CRUISE FOR TWO WAS THE PRIZE!!

COACH JAMIE BAILEY WAS FEATURED FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR IN THE 2008 AMERICAN CHEERLEADER "COACH'S HANDBOOK".  A SHORT BIO AND STATS WERE PROVIDED IN THE "WHO'S, WHO IN ALL-STAR CHEERLEADING COACHES" SECTION.

REPRESENTATIVES FROM AMERICAN CHEERLEADER MAGAZINE WERE PRESENT AT THE CHEERLEADERS OF AMERICA MID-WEST OPEN NATIONALS TO MAKE THEIR SELECTION FOR THE "EDITOR'S CHOICE" AWARD.  OHIO VALLEY WAS EXTREMELY HONORED TO HAVE THE LADIES OF OHIO VALLEY SENIOR 5 LARGE BE THAT CHOICE! THEIR PICTURE WAS FEATURED ON THE AMERICAN CHEERLEADER WEBSITE AND IN THEY WILL ALSO BE FEATURED IN THE APRIL-MAY 2008 AMERICAN CHEERLEADER MAGAZINE!

"CHEER BIZ NEWS", A INDUSTRY MAGAZINE, HAS ANNOUNCED THAT THE NEW CHEER ELITE "SUPERCENTER" WILL BE THE FEATURED FACILITY IN THEIR OCT/NOV 2007 MAGAZINE.   THIS IS A BI-MONTHLY TRADE MAGAZINE THAT TYPICALLY FEATURES NEW TRENDS IN THE CHEERLEADING INDUSTRY SUCH AS UNIFORMS, FUNDRAISING, SKILLS, ETC. AND HAS A ONE PAGE LAYOUT ABOUT THE NEWEST AND MOST STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES IN THE COUNTRY. WE ARE EXTREMELY PROUD TO BE THE FEATURED GYM!

COACH JAMIE IS ONCE AGAIN RECOGNIZED IN THE 2007 COACHES HANDBOOK PUBLISHED BY AMERICAN CHEERLEADER MAGAZINE. RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE ALL-STAR COACHES IN "WHO'S, WHO IN ALL-STAR CHEERLEADING ". THIS WAS HER FOURTH YEAR TO BE FEATURED WITH A SHORT BIO AND PROGRAM STATS.

While attending the VIP reception at the Cheerleading Worlds, Coach Jamie Bennett was extremely honored to be recognized as one of the Top 12 coaches in the United States.  The USASF in conjunction with Cheer Coach and Advisor magazine presented this award that was voted on by their peers in the cheerleading industry. 

American Cheerleader magazine selects "Ohio Valley" to participate in the SPIRIT SCOOP campaign. Ten gyms throughout the country were honored to be part of an advertising campaign with AC. With this selection, Ohio Valley received a large bulletin board filled with tons of information from AC. The board will be updated every 8 weeks by AC and students from our gym will be featured athletes on the board.

Coach Jamie is named as President of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Association of Cheerleading Coaches.  This position was nominated and voted on by members of the cheerleading industry and is quite an honor for Jamie.

The Coaching Staff of Ohio Valley All-Stars were presented the most prestigious award for coaches by American Cheer Power on April 2, 2006. In front of a packed house (with 350 teams competing) at the Greater Columbus Convention Center - the staff was named "Coaching Staff of the Year" for 2005-2006. Only one staff is recognized in the Northeast annually by Cheer Power. The staff was presented a trophy, banner and a portable sound system. Their photo will be featured in American Cheerleader Magazine. Thank you Cheer Power for affirming what our students already know!

Coach Jamie Bennett is featured in the 2005 Coach's Handbook, recognized in "Who's, Who in All-Star Cheerleading". A short bio, photo and competition results were included in the magazine. This is the second year that she is featured.

We were extremely honored to have our Senior Elite squad named "Squad of the Month" for December, 2004 in American Cheerleader Magazine. The squad was selected from hundreds of squads across the country and received a feature article in the magazine.
