Jamie Bennett-Bailey

Jamie Bailey is the founder and owner of Ohio Valley All-Stars and Cheer Elite Training Center. With over 17 years of cheerleading experience and five years of studio dance, Jamie has led the Ohio Valley All-Star family to 163 National Titles in 11 years. Founded in 1999, Ohio Valley has become the Mid-Ohio Valley's leader in cheerleading, (a fact that became evident in 2003 when Cheerleaders of America named Ohio Valley All-Star's its "Program of the Year"). Jamie was a successful competitive cheerleader herself who went on to cheer at Ohio University and to work for U.C.A. as a cheerleading staff instructor for two years. In 2003 Jamie was nominated by American Cheerpower to be recognized in American Cheerleader magazines "The Coach's Handbook 2004" to be considered for the "Who's Who in Outstanding Cheerleading Coach's". (That magazine hit newstands in April, 2004). We are proud to announce that Jamie was also featured in the 2005, 2006, 2007,2008, 2009 and 2010 Coach's Handbook as well! Jamie has choreographed our national routines as well as several junior high and high school routines. Jamie has judged various competitions, including the JamFest Nationals in Indianapolis in 2004,2005 and 2006.  Jamie was also nominated as the "2005 and 2006 National Cheerleading Coach of the Year" by Cheer Ltd. In 2006 Jamie and the entire OVA staff were awarded the "Coaching Staff of the Year" from American Cheer Power. Jamie was also President of the Ohio Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors 2007 and 2008.  In Addition, at the VIP reception of the 2007 Cheerleading World's Jamie was announced as one of the "TOP 12 COACHES" in the United States - voted on by her peers in the cheerleading industry! Jamie is Level 5 certified thru the USASF as well as AACCA Safety Certified. Jamie is a national and world's level coach currently instructing the Mini Level 2, Large Youth Level 3, Small Junior Coed Level 5,  Senior All-Girl Level 4  and the Large Senior Coed Level 5 "World's" Team.

Amy Isaly

Amy is beginning her 7th season with Ohio Valley. She currently is the assistant coach for Large Senior Coed "Power". Amy cheered for West Virginia University from 1994-2000. She is a former International Cheerleading Association staff instructor and a former West Virginia Regional Competition Judge. Amy was the color commentator for the televised broadcast of the 2007 Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Cheerleading Competition if February. She has choreographed several high school and junior high school competition routines across the state of West Virginia. Amy has a masters degree in Physical Therapy. She is a pediatric physical therapist and CEO of First Steps Pediatric Therapy, LLC. She has 25 years of cheerleading experience. She has her own little cheerleader,Taylor,who is a member of Ohio Valley All-Stars "Pulse" team as well as a son, Cruz Isaly.

Kristy Haynes

 Kristy is currently the coach for the Ohio Valley Youth Level 2/3 and the Mini team.  Kristy has over 13 years of cheerleading and tumbling experience and has also coached on the high school level. This is Kristy's eighth year with O.V.A. and she brings her own cheerleader Kiah (Senior Coed Level 5) and dancer, Alexis.

Kevin Trippett

Kevin has worked for Ohio Valley All-Stars since 2001.  He is the assistant Coach for the Senior Coed "World's" team and also instructs private lessons for co-ed partner stunting and is a tumbling instructor. Kevin cheered for West Virginia University from 1993-1999. Four of those years were with the Varsity team where he was Team Captain for two years.  He is a former UCA Staff Instructor and has experience coaching high school cheer teams, teaching private stunt clinics, judging competitions and choreographing competitive routines.  Kevin is credentialed by the USASF thru Level 5 and also has his AACCA Safety Certification.  Kevin resides in Parkersburg, WV with his wife Deborah and their two children, Madison (Ohio Valley All-Stars Mini's and dances at Dance Elite) and Hunter.

Brian Delozier

Brian has worked as a tumbling instructor for Cheer Elite since 2005.  He has worked with and has learned from some of the best instructors in the business.  He is always trying to increase his knowledge of tumbling by conducting research and educating himself with the goal of training successful athletes.  He feels that tumbling is very demanding and requires a strong combination of mental toughness, focus, form, technique and conditioning. He enjoys working with athletes of all levels and has seen great accomplishments from all of the athletes at Ohio Valley All-Stars.  He will continue to learn from the best and take that knowledge to the athletes at the gym.  Brian resides in Vienna, WV with his wife Lori and their three children, Brian, Kathryn (J-5 and S-5 team member) and Alexandra.

Elizabeth LeMasters

Liz is beginning her 2nd year as a tumbling instructor at Cheer Elite and is helping Coach Shannon with the 2007-2008 Tiny Team.  During high school, Liz cheered for Hot Springs High School in New Mexico. Liz relocated to West Virigina and began teaching basic cheerleading skills, jumps, stunts and tumbling for the YWCA summer camp for several years. During her employment at the Y, she also provided private lessons for those who were interested in polishing their skills prior to try-outs. Liz resides in Parkersburg, WV with her husband, Casey and their two children, Carleigh (Mini and Impact team member) and Jake.

Erika McDaniel

Erika McDaniel begins the 2008 season with Ohio Valley as an assistant coach to Coach Jamie. Coach Erika was a former cheerleading and gymnastics instructor for the Tri-City Tops All-Stars in Vienna, WV.   With our aquisition of that program in the spring of 2008 we were extremely lucky to be able to bring Coach Erika to OVA!  Erika was a former cheerleader herself, a former gymnastics student and instructor and a former all-star coach, so she is perfect to instruct our students. Erika is married to Josh and they reside in Parkersburg, WV.


Debbie Willison, Melissa Kuhn

 

Debbie and Melissa are our front desk staff and run our day to day operations of scheduling classes, taking payments, answering the phone and just about everything in between. They can answer all of your questions, just stop at the desk when you come in the door. Debbie has two daughters, Lexi and Rylee on the Senior teams and Melissa has two daughters that cheer on the Mini and Youth teams.

Angi is the coach of our special needs team "The Twinkles". This is our fifth year at Ohio Valley to offer this team, completely free of charge, to any special needs athlete in our area.  Angi has coached cheerleading on the middle school and jr high level and has coached the special needs team for three years. Angi has two daughters, Kelsey (Senior 4) and Lakyn (Tiny's).

Kasey Eaton

Kasey started cheer, dance and tumble at age 5. She cheered for the Tri-C competition team for 5 years and then moved on to CATS Allstars for one year.  Kasey cheered for Ohio Valley All-Stars Senior Elite team for three years and danced for OVA for one year.  She has experience in coaching and choreography and has been teaching tumbling in Fairmont for the last year. She is experienced in spotting for the older athletes as well as the younger girls. She attended Fairmont State and majored in Graphics Technology.
