Welcome to the official website of the "Ohio Valley All-Stars". We are a year round competitive cheerleading program and World's training center located in Parkersburg, WV. We have been growing by leaps and bounds over the past few years under the instruction of Head Coach and gym owner Jamie Bennett-Bailey.  

"Ohio Valley All-Stars" has earned a reputation for having a fun atmosphere, yet disciplined. We have set a standard of excellence that we will continue to maintain. We are looking for athletes that are willing to commit the year to O.V.A., to work hard to improve their individual skills and to be a loyal teammate.

The Ohio Valley coaching staff's mission is to offer the ultimate competitive cheerleading experience! We will offer the best technical training and most innovative choreography possible. This type of training requires attendance and safe, structured workouts.  Focusing on teamwork, team members learn how to encourage one another while building their own confidence.

Competitive cheerleading is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and is now viewed with a high degree of athleticism. With the increasing competitiveness in the cheerleading world, the all-star program is a valuable tool for molding and preparing cheerleaders for future endeavors.

Ohio Valley is one of the top gyms in the country, with many coaching awards, over 250 regional and state awards and 149 National titles to prove it! We feel that our program offers something for cheerleaders of all ages and ability levels. With Novice, Intermediate and Elite levels available - there is something for everyone! Ohio Valley teaches kids to be exceptional cheerleaders, but, most of all, we teach kids to be exceptional people!

HOW MANY STUDENTS DO YOU HAVE? -As Ohio Valley All-Stars enters its 11th season we currently have approximately 150 competitive cheerleaders enrolled on our 7 cheerleading teams and approximately 200 additional tumblers in our classes at Cheer Elite.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE FEATURES OF YOUR GYM? -Our brand new state of the art facility is fully air-conditioned!!! With over 4,500 feet of competitive spring floor and an additional 2,300 feet of carpet bonded cheer floor - there is plenty of surface to flip around on! We have a in-ground resi-pit and a forty foot in-ground tumble track as well. All areas access a 15 foot by 16 foot in-ground foam pit!  A nine foot viewing screen for the cheerleaders to watch those competition videos on as well as a viewing room for parents complete with four LCD televisions wired to view all of the cheerleading gym. There is a pro-shop and vending machines available as well. Then tour the dance side and see a 55ft harlequin sprung floor for our all-star dance teams with a forty foot wall of mirrors! Everything under one roof!

HOW MUCH INSURANCE DO YOU CARRY? - Cheer Elite, LLC maintains a $1,000,000 General Liability Policy from Azinger-Fittro Insurance (underwritten thru Erie Ins) in Vienna, WV. Evidence of Insurance protection can be provided upon request. Also, each member of our coaching staff is protected thru the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors with a seperate policy.

IS CHEERLEADING A DANGEROUS SPORT? -Cheerleaders have a lower risk of injury than other athletic activities, but, as with any activity that involves athleticism injuries can happen. Our coaches are safety certified thru the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors. Evidence of their certification can be found at the front desk.  In addition, Cheer Elite uses top of the line equipment and requires that at least one coach or staff member that is present per practice is certified in CPR.
